Accessibility Statement

Last updated: September 1, 2026
TGS Surf Experiences is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming experience. We aim to make our website, booking process, communications, and services reasonably accessible to people with different abilities and needs.
  1. WEBSITE ACCESSIBILITY
We are continually working to improve the usability and accessibility of www.tgssurf.com.
Our accessibility efforts include reviewing:
• Clear and consistent page structure
• Readable text, fonts, and color contrast
• Navigation on desktop and mobile devices
• Descriptive text for important images and visual content
• Forms, buttons, links, and booking information
• Compatibility with common browsers and assistive technologies
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 as a reference for ongoing improvements where reasonably possible. However, we do not claim that every page or feature currently meets every WCAG conformance requirement.
2. ALTERNATIVE ASSISTANCE
If a visitor has difficulty accessing information, completing a booking, or using a feature on our website, we are available to provide assistance by email or WhatsApp.
Upon request, we can provide information about our services, availability, prices, meeting locations, and booking requirements in an alternative reasonable format or assist with the reservation process.
3. ACCESSIBILITY OF SURF ACTIVITIES
TGS Surf Experiences is a mobile surf service and does not operate from a permanent public storefront. Activities take place at public beaches and natural coastal locations in Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Beach access, sand, rocks, tides, waves, weather, parking areas, roads, and other natural or public conditions may affect physical accessibility. These conditions may change and are not fully controlled by TGS Surf Experiences.
Customers who may require assistance or an accommodation should contact us before booking or as early as possible. We will discuss the participant’s needs and make reasonable efforts to identify an appropriate meeting point, pick-up arrangement, activity modification, or other available assistance.
Any accommodation or activity modification remains subject to ocean conditions, participant safety, instructor judgment, available resources, and the essential nature of the activity.
4. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Accessibility needs, medical conditions, injuries, swimming ability, and other relevant safety information should be communicated before the activity.
Providing this information helps TGS Surf Experiences determine whether an activity can be reasonably adapted and safely provided. It does not guarantee that every requested modification will be possible under all ocean, weather, location, or operational conditions.
5. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Some website functions may be provided by third parties, including Wix, payment processors, maps, social media platforms, booking tools, or review and travel websites.
The accessibility of these third-party services may be controlled by their respective providers. If a third-party feature creates difficulty, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to provide the relevant information or assistance through another available method.
6. ONGOING IMPROVEMENTS
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We may update our website, content, forms, booking procedures, and this Accessibility Statement as we identify improvements or receive feedback from visitors and customers.
